Magnesium oxide-based solidifying agent "Geobest"
It is a solidifying agent primarily composed of magnesium oxide that does not use cement. It can solidify not only purchased soil but also local soil.
- Geobest is a solidifying agent with magnesium oxide as its main component, which can maintain a weak alkaline pH value around 9, close to that of natural soil, thus minimizing environmental impact. - In the leaching tests for specific harmful substances (35 items) stipulated by the Soil Contamination Countermeasures Act, it meets all soil leaching standards. - It has been confirmed through acute toxicity tests on killifish and inhalation tests on rats that there are no adverse effects on humans or small animals. - When disposed of, it does not become industrial waste and can be treated as leftover soil from construction, making it reusable. Construction-generated soil is classified into four categories, and Geobest soil-based pavement can be reused as high-quality fill material of the first category. - Geobest can solidify various types of local soil, but some soils may be difficult to solidify, so strength confirmation is conducted through preliminary mixing tests. - Geobest can be used not only for soil-based pavement but also as a solidifying agent for weed control, enabling long-term weed prevention. - By varying the addition rate of the solidifying agent, it can be used for various applications.
